🪬 aries saturn
Individuals with Saturn in Aries tend to be cautious and reserved, often avoiding risks due to a fear of failure and rejection. They may experience health issues related to circulation, kidneys, and frequent headaches. These individuals often assume significant responsibilities early in life, leading to considerable anxiety when asserting their rights and seeking control over situations. Anger can be a challenge for them, and developing self-reliance is crucial for their success. In their youth, they may struggle with self-expression and managing their emotions, such as anger, and may have a fear of various things, including heights or medical procedures. However, as they mature, they often become more courageous and open, overcoming their initial fears and becoming more confident in expressing themselves. Saturn's placement in Aries can create inner tension and conflict, making it difficult for these individuals to fully trust their abilities and leading to a solitary nature. They may prefer working independently over collaborating with others, which can sometimes hinder their professional growth. Over time, they can evolve into effective leaders, though they may still retain a preference for working alone. Their self-perception often leads them to take on more work than necessary, driven by a sense of responsibility and the desire to be seen as capable. This self-sacrificing attitude can lead to stress and headaches. A key lesson for them is to assert their own goals, embrace self-discipline, and practice self-love. Their focus on personal achievement may obstruct teamwork, and they might encounter difficulties in relationships and marriage due to their strong-willed nature. When Saturn is poorly aspected, these individuals may face significant obstacles and conflicts, which can strain their social connections and personal relationships. They might also experience impatience and frustration, leading to potential destructive behaviors if not managed well. Despite these challenges, they are often determined and capable, with a strong drive for success and a keen ability to handle creative and organizational tasks. To thrive, they need to balance their ambition with patience and learn to work harmoniously with others. While their intense focus and drive can lead to significant accomplishments, they should be cautious not to let their impatience and tendency towards self-centeredness undermine their efforts. Engaging in physical activities can help manage stress and maintain emotional balance.

You look out of the window as the sun shines through, lightening up the break room. The slight bitterness of the last remains of your coffee mellow on your tongue as you start preparing it for the others. You make his at the end to ensure that it remains warm until he drinks it. An Americano, with three cubes of sugar. Just the way he likes it; you can only hope that he’s appeased by your attempts, even if it’s not much.
You walk back to the conference room, one hand balancing the coffee and the other carrying a few files Pepper needs. Your life as Pepper’s assistant involves having to clean up everything for her as well as for Tony. Well, more for Tony than Pepper.
As you walk through the corridor, you hear the regular good morning charades. You smile and nod too tired to say anything as your eyes beg you to get some sleep. Tony’s plethora of mishaps as of recently has only increased your work load. This boy leaves around more paperwork than Pepper can handle.
While work can be strenuous at times, you’re extremely grateful for what you have. Who wouldn’t want to work for Stark Internationals and… you got to meet him, talk to him, get to know him, and you wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.
“Ahh, there she is; we were wondering where our coffee monkey is.” You hear Tony chime.
“What he means is, good morning, Y/N.” Pepper snorts.
“Morning Pepper, Tony, everybody. Pepper, the files you needed.”
“Oh, thank you!.”
Most of them flock around you to get their hands on the coffee, but Sam and Tony beat them to it, like indecent children. The only ones with a little decency are Pepper, Nat, Bucky, and, of course, Steve.
You walk over to Nat and Bucky after you give Pepper hers. Both utter a small thank you as you give them theirs. You slowly turn around and place Steve’s cup near him on the table. He barely acknowledges you, his eyes concentrated on the file in his hand. You’ve always admired that; his ability to never get distracted from what he deems important—you could only wish to have such discipline.
You bask in his scent for a few seconds and immediately leave. You hope nobody caught you staring; you tend to do that a lot. If they knew, they’d make fun of you for being such a love-sick fool.
You finish entering all of last week's finances when you see him approach you. You avert your eyes immediately; to avoid too much eye contact is something he insists upon. You stare at your computer as you type in a few more numbers.
He clears his throat as he stands in front of you, a file in his hand.
“Hello captain.”
“Pepper wanted to return this to you.” He says as he extends the file to you.
“Oh yes, I’ll need this for...,” you stop as you realise he’s barely listening. You see him look around to make sure no one is nearby as he turns to you.
“You didn’t stop by yesterday.” His tone was laced with disappointment.
“I… I didn’t leave office until late, and I had to come back early; there was a lot of work left.” You wait for him to say something but soon realise he’s not going to. His face is as clam as ever, yet his eyes seem to be throwing a reproachful look at you.
“You’d just arrived from a mission too; I assumed you might be tired.”
"Yeah, I was; don’t you think that’s when I need you the most?” He whispers.
“I’m sorry, you never said anything, and I—
“Do I have to? After all this time.” You feel your heart clench at his accusation.
“I’m sorry, Steve.”
He stares at you for a few seconds, and you feel yourself shrink at his presence.
“I should leave; you’re not the only one with work here.” Before you could say anything, he’s gone, only the echo of his footsteps left behind.
The whole day passes by uneventfully, and Steve’s words stung. You tried to immerse yourself with work, but your mind seemed inclined to relive your conversation from the morning. You really hadn’t meant to upset him.
At about nine, you receive a text from Steve.
“Stop by tonight.”
Simple and direct your conversations never went past that. You still have some more work left, but you don’t want to upset him any further, so you pack your stuff and decide to head to his room.
You wish that Steve would come over to your place instead; having to sneak around like this can be really difficult at times. If it were your place, there’s nothing to worry about—nobody to catch you. But now... does he not think of these things?, you wonder.
You’re not particularly afraid of the others finding out, considering Pepper and Tony have themselves breached the professionalism code of conduct. Nat and Bruce are on their way to; there’s nothing new about finding love at the workplace, right?
You’re more worried about how he’s going to react when people find out; you really didn’t want to deal with the burn of something you could have avoided.
As you turn around the right corner, your heart jumps out of your body as your eyes meet a pair of questioning blue ones.
“Why haven’t you left yet; isn’t it late?” Bucky enquires; he seems to have changed into his workout attire, his hands warped in bandages. Who works out at this hour? You ponder. He seems to have read your mind through your face as he answers, saving you the trouble.
“Couldn’t sleep; thought I’d punch some of the energy out.”
“So, why are you still here?”
“Uhh work, there were a lot of emails and I lost track of time.” He gives you an understanding nod. His mouth slightly parts to say something but then thinks better of it. You move around to pass through, when he suddenly says, “I’ll walk you out.”
“Oh, it’s ok. I wouldn’t want to ruin your workout.”
“You won’t. I’ll walk you to your car and then head to the gym.”
“Really I — But, before you can finish, he turns back towards the elevator and presses the button. The doors swing open, and he steps inside, leaving you no choice but to follow.
Bucky leans onto the side, pressing himself to the cool glass walls as you stand rigid on the opposite side. You don’t think you’ve ever been alone with him before or this close to him. Now that you notice it, he’s built quite a lot like Steve, although Steve might be a tad bit taller or it could just be the hair.
You quickly avert your eyes as he catches you staring at him. He clears his throat as he says, “You really shouldn’t be working so late, Y/N; it’s not healthy, you know.”
“Overworking will only make things more difficult in the future; Pepper wouldn’t want that for her favourite employee.”
You chuckle at that, “I’m not Pepper's favourite employee.”
“Of course you are; she couldn’t manage a day without you. She’s always praising you.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, plus we like having our morning coffee, and you’re the only one who’s kind enough to get it for us.”
“Oh, it’s nothing, really.” You smile back.
“Still, thank you. We really appreciate it.” He says, a slight smile warming up his face.
The lift arrives at the parking lot, and you get out of it into the well-lit space. The cluster of cars overwhelming you as you look around in search of yours, lost in the myriad of similar-looking vehicles.
“Well… Thank you for acknowledging it, Mr. Barn—
“Bucky.” He cuts you to it, his voice carrying a timber of shyness.
“Bucky.” Your whisper back, happy at the aspect of knowing that after all, maybe the supersoldier doesn’t despise you. You don’t know why you ever worried about that; your communication with each other might have been limited, but he was never anything but kind and respectful.
You say your final good-byes and walk towards your vehicle. You open it and get inside, fumbling with your key, hoping that he would leave soon. You did not want to actually leave the building for the pretence of it.
You turn your key around, the car engine roaring at you. You look over ahead to see Bucky turning around to ride up the elevator again. You decide to stay put for some more time. You don’t want to ride the elevator just yet. What if he hasn’t left?
If you get caught again, you have no excuses left. So you stay put for a good 40 minutes before you make your way up. Bucky’s bound to be in the gym by now.
You slowly sneak towards his room, heels in your hand, to avoid the loud tenor of its click-clacking. You arrive at his front door and repeat the pattern twice. A knock-pause, followed by two rapid knocks. You’re received by silence, and you grow a little uneasy. What if someone shows up? What will you say? Was he really that mad?
You repeat the knock again and pause for a few seconds. The door swings open, and your breath hitch’s at the sight in front of you. He has a towel wrapped around his hip, his hair wet as the droplets still cling on to him. His face and body; glistening. There’s a frown etched between his eyebrows as he stares at you.
“You’re late.”
“I was—before you can finish, his hand extends to latch on to your belt as he pulls you in. He shuts the door close as he presses you against it; you feel your entire face heat up. You’ve seen him naked so many times, yet you can’t help but ogle at him and admire him every time you see him.
Every time he needs you, there’s a bloom in your heart that radiates through your whole body. One that just wants him near you, on you, inside you. And you just want to be there for him whenever, wherever, however he wants you to be.
He gives you a questioning gaze as you mumble. “Bucky kinda noticed that I hadn’t left yet, so I had to play around a little.” His frown still remains as you let out a “Sorry.” His hand moves around you to lock the door, the sound of it synchronising with a beat of your heart. His hand moves to rest on your lower back; it curves around you and pushes you towards him. Your breasts press tightly against his chest as he traps you between him and the door. He presses his mouth on to yours as he kisses you; it's messy, all teeth and tongue. His desperation seeps through you as you feel yourself get wet.
You feel his hard length against your core as he presses his hip to yours. You let out a loud moan, your head leans back onto the door as you attempt to take in shallow breaths. He moves his face ever so slightly to look at you as he moves his hips back and thrusts into you with a force that knocks the wind out of you. You gasp at that as he adorns a devious smirk.
His hand travels down your thigh, he lifts it up and hooks it around his hip, spreading you apart as he nestles in between you.
“Been thinking about this pretty cunt, the whole time I was away.” He whispers into your mouth. One of his hands travels under you skirt as he cups your core, his fingers maneuver around your underwear as he plays around with you.
“Well somebody’s excited.” He sighs out, hot breath fanning your face.
“On the bed, ass up, right now.” He sternly recites. Your body immediately moves on its own, pealing your clothes off of yourself. Anticipation overwhelming you as you lay down, just like he told you to. You can hear him pumping himself with the hand that was covered in your slick just a moment ago.
He climbs onto the bed behind you as his hands move to grope your ass. With a smooth clean thrust he slides himself inside you. He lets out a moan as you feel yourself clench around him. His right hand rear back and as he smacks you, you feel the sting pass through your entire body.
You bite your lips and start counting; you haven’t forgotten, the last time he made sure you won’t. “…3,4,5,6,” you feel hot tears well up you eyes, “…8,9.” His left arm gropes your titts and moves forward to your neck, he squeezes it as he yanks you back.
Your back collides with his chest and he increases his pace, thrusting into you. Your knees are falling apart and the only thing that makes sure you stay upright are his hands. Your own hand maneuvers back to play with his hair, you ruffle your fingers through the short strands and slowly scratch his head. His eyes shut close as his breath falters and his thrusts start to get sloppier. You press yourself even closer to him as you tilt your head sideways. You lean forward and place a light peck on his lips. He opens his eyes as his grip on you tightens at that, you’re sure that it’ll bruise by tomorrow morning.
He moves your upper body around uncomfortably so as his lips find yours. He growls into the kiss as he twists your body, you’re almost afraid that you’ll snap like a twig, but you felt reassurance course through you when you realize its him. You wouldn’t mind if it’s him but you also know that nothing would happen because it’s him; he would never hurt you, he would never hurt anybody. He is Captain America after all.
You feel yourself close and you cling on to him desperately. “Sir… sir, I’m clo—
“Hush, hush let go… just let go, I’ve got you.” You come apart around him as you clench him tighter and he closely follows you.
You fall on to the bed as exhaustion overcomes you. You can hear his soft, shallow breaths behind you as you close your eyes and focus on it. You feel him shift as he gets out of bed and leaves the room; he comes back a minute later carrying a bottle with him. His eyes are on you as you turn around to sit upright.
“Water?” he asks, his hand extended, his gaze never leaving you.
“Yes, please!” You timidly reply, your eyes finding the ground. You greedily drink up; you’d been parched, and you hadn’t even realised it.
He moves around to his bedside table and fiddles with the clock. With your thirst now quenched, you feel the soreness ripple through your body. You’re ready to drop right now; you don’t even want to think about the pile of work you’ll have to deal with in the morning. Some sleep would do you good, yet you know you’re not going to get any, simply by the way he stares at you. He’s waiting to rip that bottle out of your hands.
The minute you give him the bottle back, he’s on you. His entire weight pressed onto your aching body, his thrusts sending you to oblivion as he takes you over and over throughout the night.
Tumblr media
You jump up as the alarm rings through your brain, the blaring noise annoying your ear just as its bright red numbers annoy your eyes. You absentmindedly notice that it's 4:00 am. You don’t have to turn around to know that he’s gone; the lack of warmth already suggests that. Not that you ever got a semblance of the next morning; you’re never privy to seeing his beautiful sleep-ridden form in the morning.
He’s always been punctual about his morning runs; they weren’t going to change for your sake. You pick up your clothes—the ones you’d scattered around, the ones he’s picked up and placed on his chair—and get dressed as you brace yourself for the day to come. At least he’s not far away on a mission; at least you don’t have to worry about how he’s doing, where he’s gone, or when he’ll come back, and you most definitely don’t have to worry about Tony’s inquisitive gazes as to why his assistant’s secretary would care about Steve Rogers.
The last time you chalked it up as concern for the team and worry about the authenticity of the Intel, but you won’t get such chances anymore, so you learn to apply patience into your daily regime. At least now you can take comfort in small glances and the echo of his voice; it fills your heart with a kind of warmth that you don’t think you can explain. Yet you know it; you recognise it. It blooms within you every time you see those baby blues.
Tony’s meetings have always brought a frown upon Steve’s brows; that wouldn’t surprise you, however the way he gazes at you does. It never lingers for more than a second, but now... you feel his gaze burn through you. You focus your attention on the second pair of eyes that have been longing for it as you hand over the cup of espresso to him.
“Thanks doll.” Bucky whispers back a nonchalant remark.
Steve’s eyes flick on to Bucky and then back to you. For a split second, his face hardens, but it immediately reverts back. His attention now back on the monitor in front of him.
“Hey, Steve, this is important, you know? It would be great if you were paying attention to what I’m saying instead of laser-eyeing my coffee monkey.” Tony quips.
All eyes are now on you, yet his remains stoned towards Tony. He gives him an unimpressed shrug, “You do have my attention, Tony.”
“Wait a sec, she gets everyone coffee, so why is she your coffee monkey?” Natasha asks, an eyebrow raised in your direction, “Shouldn’t she be our coffee monkey?” she smirks.
“Well, Nat,” Tony replies, “it’s my coffee, and she works for me, so...”
“First and foremost, she’s my assistant; second of all, she’s doing you guys a favor. She doesn’t have to do this. Now please stop hogging her and let her work.” Pepper tones suggest humour and a slight disappointed nod at Tony.
“Yeah, well, you work for me, Pepp, so technically everything’s mine.”
Tony squeaks out as the room breaks into smiles and low hollers. The attention is back on Tony now; you use this opportunity to escape. As you leave, you turn back slightly to look at Steve. Only to be met with his back towards you.
Once again, you leave work late. The workload these past few days has made taking care of yourself impossible. As you walk towards home, you mentally plan on what you should do to relax. Tomorrow is a Sunday, and you really want to spend some time for yourself. You turn around as you head in the direction of your apartment building and are momentarily surprised to find Steve perched up on his motorcycle.
He looks up at you, his eyes locked onto yours. Even a simple gaze from him brings a shiver down your spine. He walks into the building, and you quietly follow behind him. A part of you feels guilty for not lending him a key, but he never asked, and you didn’t want to seem overbearing. He moves towards the corner of the lift as you enter right behind him.
Even though it is quite late into the night, the overflow of people moving about was no less. You move over to the right to create space for the incoming group of people. An unbothered shove from the person in front of you pushes you back. Your body slightly leans towards him, his chest pressed to your back as his hands land on your hip, pulling you closer. You feel him hard against your ass, and you heave a shuttered breath.
While Steve has always been handsy, he never acted out in public. Although no one here recognised him, nor were there any cameras in the lift—unlike the all-seeing eyes of the stark tower—it still doesn’t help calm your nerves.
Your floor arrives shortly, and you weed your way out; however, you don’t see him behind you. You presume he’ll get out on another floor and descend the stairs. You slowly walk towards your apartment and unlock the door. You enter and switch on the lampshade in the hall, the low yellow colour dancing through the entire room.
You hear his heavy footsteps as you place your bag on the table. He enters and closes the door; his figure leans on to it as he lingers there for a few seconds, gazing at you.
Before you know it he moves forward in lightening speed. His hands find your body as he lifts you off of the ground. You wrap your legs around his hips as he hungrily kisses you. His right hand lands on your ass and he gropes a handful as his other hand squeezes the nape of your neck. You revel in the pleasure and slight pain he provides and you lightly bite his lips.
He places your body atop the table as he moves to nip at your neck. His hand rides up your thigh as he slowly drags your panties down. You hike your skirt up in an attempt to help him as your lips desperately try to latch itself on to his again.
He kisses you a few more times in an attempt to placate you before his arm pushes your upper body onto the table. He slightly bends his knees and leans over to lower his head in between your thighs.
His heated breath dances against your slick core, as he swipes his tongue over your folds. He laps from you hungrily as his hands tighten on your thigh; adjusting them.
“Please Steve.” You receive a slight bite on the inside of your thigh at that; a reminder.
“Captain. Sir, Please.” You moan a whimper out.
“Use your words sweetheart, what do you want?”
“I want you.”
“Yeah? What do you want me to do?”
“I want you to make me feel good.”
“Atta girl.” He whispers.
His tongue slightly licks your clit before sucking on it. You let out an embarrassingly loud moan as you move your hands over to run through his short Blond strands, you slowly massage his head and he pushes his face further into you.
You can barely handle it anymore as you let yourself go with a muffled scream and you nearly see stars around you. He moves his hand to the back of your hip as he stands straight and you know you’re not done for the day.
Tumblr media
It’s been nearly three weeks, and he hasn’t said a word to you. Your lack of communication wasn’t anything new. But he hasn’t  come to you even once, and you know he’s here and not away on a mission; you’d seen him at the tower chatting away with almost anybody but you.
Sometimes you’d encounter the supersoldier pair in passing, Bucky was the only one who would stop by to greet you; your Blond-haired nightly companion would simply walk past you. You’re unsure if it’s his usual impassiveness or if you did something wrong again.
It could be really difficult when it came to Steve; he had high expectations but was never precise about what he wanted. A part of you loved it when you could figure it out on your own without him having to spell it out for you. But sometimes you couldn’t understand what it is that he wants. It angers and terrifies you; that’s when the dread settles in. You don’t want to admit it or acknowledge it even, though a small part of you is terrified of being discarded away.
By the fourth week, you finally found the courage to talk to him, only to find out that he’s been gone for about three days now. A part of you felt guilty that you hadn’t talked to him earlier, but another part of you knows that it was the better decision to make.
The days flit through in a gloom as you realise how disheartening expectation can be. The only positive side to your loneliness and boredom was the better sleep schedule you managed to incorporate into your routine. The depths of sleep now welcome you without much hesitation.
You don’t really perceive the feeling of your bed dipping at the weight of another. Not even the feather-like touch of fingers skimming over your body. Sleep lulls you into a pleasant dreamscape; not even at the slight intrusion that your body felt could your mind understand anything.
It wasn’t until you felt his cock plunged into you that you truly registered what was happening. Your mind had just been in the cradle of sleep, and it felt like you had been snatched out of it. Your body felt trapped between the bed and the weight of the body pressed on top of you. The weight of it was the only thing you could focus on until the sting of him stretching you out coursed through your body.
You could hardly breathe; fear surges through you as your heartbeat increases. Your brain felt like it was on fire due to the sudden change your body felt.
The room was veiled in darkness except for the small shine of moonlight. Your eyes hadn’t been able to register to it in the beginning, but now they had become accustomed to it. You couldn’t decide if the sight in front of you put you at ease or if it alarmed you further.
It was the same blue eyes that you’d always longed to gaze at, the same glittery Blond hair that you long to touch, the same sharp nose, and the same clenched jaw. Except there was something in his eyes that terrified you, along with the dirt and blood that covered his face; his lip nearly torn apart. It almost felt like it wasn’t him, and your heart both feared and ached for him.
With a little more clarity now you notice the brushing of the sharp clothes against yours. He was still wearing his tactical suit; this— a first. Now that you think of it, you don’t ever remember him coming to you while wearing it; he’d never been desperate enough. You were a part of his leisure, not a need. Your hand moves to feel the shape and pattern with a sense of wonder.
He leans down to kiss you, the copper taste of his blood stinging your tongue. He bites on to your lip making you yelp; sure that now you’ve started to bleed too.
“Ahh ste— Steve, slow— slow down please.” You beg.
His hand moves to wrap itself around your throat as he slightly tightens his fingers around it. His pace not differing at the slightest. In fact, you're sure he’s slightly increased his pace.
“Talk to me... what’s wrong?” Your right arm moves up to hold his face as your thumb gets imprinted with his sweat and blood.
His gaze that had been on your lips this entire time, now flickers to your eyes as his pace slows a tiny bit.
“Just go to sleep.” The gravel of his voice a slight whisper.
You’re exhausted by him, and his voice lulls you even more; you feel the ceiling slowly blur. Your body moving along with the rhythm of the bed as you slowly fall asleep again.
Tumblr media
A surprise party for Pepper's birthday would involve the utmost amount of planning done solely by you and the credit taken away by Tony. But the warm smile lingering on the strawberry Blond's face makes it all worth it.
The humdrum within the Stark tower makes you gleam inwardly; the initial stress and discomfort from the morning washed away. In fact, you had completely forgotten about him. The excitement of the party overtaking you—it felt so nice to see everybody like this. At ease in their own skin, today they were no different from any other office member celebrating a colleague's birthday, albeit a slight difference in luxury.
The long-haired brunet walks over to the quieter side of the party where you reside. You notice him walking over and slice a piece of the cake and extend it to him.
“It’s a real nice party you pulled off in such little time, Y/N.”
“Whatever do you mean?, this is all Tony." You say, a light gist in your voice.
“Oh please, everyone knows this is your work; pretty sure Pepper does too.”
“Tony was away with us on the mission; he wouldn’t be able to pull this off.”
“Well, I think you underestimate him, Bucky.”
“No, they underestimate you,” he sighs, anticipation brewing within. If you didn’t know any better, you’d think he was nervous.
“Do you like the cake? It’s got a complicated name, but I’m pretty sure it's got plum in it; I know you like it.”
His eyes light up just a tad bit as the corners of his mouth slightly turn up.
He chuckles again, “You’re supposed to get Pepper a cake of her choice, not what I like.”
“Everyone likes plum!. Anyway, I had to buy multiple cakes; sneaking this in was easy.”
“Thank you. It’s really goo— a thud on his back nearly chokes him as Sam comes up from behind, eager to receive his share of the sugary dessert. As you cut the slice for him, their regular jab of bickering continues. Sam says something in an almost teasing tone as Bucky tries to strangle him with his eyes. You like this version of them much more.
You slightly tap your feet as you gaze at the room you’re most familiar with. He hadn’t spoken to you the whole day, but his piercing gaze could not be shaken off of you. You recall the previous night's events; you’re unsure what to make of it. You simply couldn’t leave, at least not without hearing his voice.
“What are you doing here?” His voice startles you out of your thoughts.
“I- wanted to talk to you… about last ni—
“Oh, so now you wanna talk?”
“You seemed content with the company of others the whole day.” The harshness of his tone surprises you.
“What, Steve, what are you-?
“I believe it’s cap for you. Since when did you two get this close?” he says a finger pointed towards you.
“who?”
“Don’t act like a fool, Y/N; I see the way you look at him; act around him.”
“Who!?”
“Bucky.” He barks back.
“Are you trying to fuck him? Bored of me? Is that what this is about?”
The crassness of his words shocked you. You feel a lump form in your throat as your eyes sting.
“No, no...” you can barely form any words as tears start brimming up, your palms brush against your eyes harshly as to try to stop the free fall.
He sighs at that, his voice now a whisper, “Why are you crying?”
“I’m not. I’m— sorry…” you coarsely whisper.
He sighs again and moves over to sit on the bed, a hand extending to latch on to your dress. He pulls you with it, your slight resistance casually ignored. His grip becomes stronger as he pulls you onto his lap, his hand tight around your waist.
He simply gazes at you, and you start crying all over again, “I don’t know—I just don’t know what I did to make you feel that way. I never—you sob words stuck in your throat.
He tilts up your chin with his finger, forcing you to look at him. He leans forward to kiss you. The hand around your waist forcing you to straddle him as the other latches on to your hair. You try to stop, to get a word out but he uses this opportunity to shove his tongue in. The force of him making you relent.
“Steve, I—
The sudden swing of the door startles you just as your presence startles your visitor. He averts his eyes in shock, but his eyes move back to look at you, an ache painted upon them as he looks at your dishevelled hair and messy form.
“Hey, Buck. Need something?” Steve asks, his face slightly turned backwards.
Bucky’s eyes finally reside on the other man in the room, snapping him out of his trance.
“Uh… yeah. no- No, it’s ok.” He rambles as he moves back and closes the door.
You feel a sudden sense of shame course through you, and you move to get off of him. Only to have him shift you as he pins you under him.
“Don’t worry, he won’t tell anyone. It’ll be fine.” He says in between kisses. His hand toying with your dress.
Of course; you’re still his secret, one that he’s unwilling to share. But it’s ok. For him, you’ll do just about anything, as he would for you.
His insatiability and your incredulity, twisting around and consuming you into a single burning fire.

How Bitcoin Transformed My Life: A Journey of Financial Awakening
Tumblr media
Welcome to my blog! I'm passionate about financial freedom and the transformative power of Bitcoin. Today, I want to share my personal journey with Bitcoin and how it has dramatically changed my life. My goal is to help you understand the potential of Bitcoin and inspire you to explore its benefits for yourself.
Early Financial Life
Before discovering Bitcoin, my financial life was a constant struggle. I lived paycheck to paycheck, barely managing to cover my expenses. Emergencies, like unexpected car repairs or medical bills, threw my finances into disarray. I felt trapped in a cycle of debt and financial stress, unable to break free.
Discovering Bitcoin
My journey with Bitcoin began when I stumbled upon an article about it online. Intrigued by the concept of a decentralized digital currency, I started to delve deeper into what Bitcoin was all about. The more I learned, the more fascinated I became. Bitcoin's potential to revolutionize the financial system and provide a hedge against inflation captivated me.
Learning About Money
One of the most profound impacts of my Bitcoin journey was the education it forced upon me regarding money. Before Bitcoin, I had a superficial understanding of how money worked. As I researched Bitcoin, I learned about the history of money, the mechanics of inflation, and the flaws in our current financial system. This newfound knowledge empowered me to make more informed financial decisions.
The Transformation
Bitcoin not only educated me about money but also transformed my financial habits and mindset. I began to prioritize saving and investing in Bitcoin instead of spending frivolously. Over time, I built a safety net that allowed me to handle emergencies without financial panic. My financial situation improved significantly, and I felt a sense of control and security that I had never experienced before.
Spreading the Knowledge
Inspired by my own transformation, I decided to create content to help others understand Bitcoin and achieve financial freedom. Through my YouTube channel and blog, I aim to demystify Bitcoin and provide practical advice on how to incorporate it into one's financial strategy. My goal is to empower you to take control of your finances and realize the potential of Bitcoin.
Practical Advice
Here are some practical steps for those looking to start their Bitcoin journey:
Educate Yourself: Take the time to learn about Bitcoin and the principles behind it. There are plenty of resources available online, including articles, videos, and podcasts.
Start Small: You don't need to invest a large amount of money to get started. Begin with small, manageable investments and gradually increase your exposure as you become more comfortable.
Secure Your Investments: Make sure to store your Bitcoin securely using reputable wallets and follow best practices to protect your assets.
Stay Informed: Keep up with the latest developments in the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency space to make informed decisions.
Conclusion
My journey with Bitcoin has been nothing short of transformative. It has empowered me to take control of my finances and dramatically improved my financial well-being. I encourage you to explore Bitcoin and educate yourself about money. The potential for financial freedom is within your reach, and I hope my story inspires you to take that first step.

The Ultimate Guide to Couples Counseling: Strengthening Your Relationship
Introduction
Relationships are the cornerstone of our lives, offering companionship, support, and love. However, maintaining a healthy relationship requires effort, communication, and sometimes external support. Couples counseling is a powerful tool for addressing conflicts, improving communication, and fostering a deeper connection between partners. This comprehensive guide explores the ins and outs of couples counseling, its benefits, techniques, and how to find the right therapist for your needs.
What is Couples Counseling?
Couples counseling, also known as couples therapy or marriage counseling, is a type of psychotherapy designed to help partners improve their relationship. It involves sessions with a trained therapist who works with both partners to address issues, improve communication, and develop healthy relationship habits. Couples counseling can be beneficial at any stage of a relationship, whether you are dating, engaged, married, or in a long-term partnership.
Benefits of Couples Counseling
1. Improved Communication
One of the primary goals of couples counseling is to enhance communication between partners. Effective communication is the foundation of a healthy relationship, allowing partners to express their needs, desires, and concerns openly. Counseling helps partners develop better listening skills, empathy, and ways to articulate their thoughts without causing conflict.
2. Conflict Resolution
All relationships experience conflict, but how couples handle these disagreements can make or break the relationship. Couples counseling provides strategies and tools for resolving conflicts constructively. Therapists teach partners to address issues calmly and respectfully, focusing on finding solutions rather than assigning blame.
3. Strengthened Emotional Connection
Emotional intimacy is crucial for a fulfilling relationship. Couples counseling helps partners reconnect on an emotional level, fostering a deeper bond. Therapists guide couples in understanding each other's emotional needs and developing ways to meet those needs consistently.
4. Enhanced Problem-Solving Skills
Through counseling, couples learn effective problem-solving techniques that can be applied to various aspects of their relationship. Whether it's managing finances, parenting, or household responsibilities, having strong problem-solving skills helps partners work together as a team.
5. Prevention of Future Issues
Couples counseling isn't just for relationships in crisis. It can also be a proactive measure to prevent potential issues from escalating. By addressing minor concerns early on and developing healthy communication habits, couples can avoid more significant problems down the road.
Common Issues Addressed in Couples Counseling
Couples counseling can address a wide range of issues, including but not limited to:
Communication problems: Misunderstandings, frequent arguments, or a lack of open dialogue.
Trust issues: Infidelity, dishonesty, or breaches of trust.
Intimacy concerns: Sexual dissatisfaction, emotional distance, or mismatched desires.
Financial conflicts: Disagreements over spending, saving, or financial responsibilities.
Parenting differences: Conflicting parenting styles or disagreements about child-rearing.
Life transitions: Adjusting to changes such as moving, career changes, or retirement.
Mental health issues: Dealing with individual mental health problems that impact the relationship.
Techniques and Approaches in Couples Counseling
1. Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
EFT is a structured approach to couples therapy that focuses on building and strengthening emotional bonds. Developed by Dr. Sue Johnson, EFT helps partners understand their emotional responses and attachment needs. The therapy aims to create secure emotional connections and improve relationship satisfaction.
2. Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT for couples focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to relationship problems. This approach helps partners develop healthier ways of thinking and interacting, leading to more positive relationship dynamics.
3. The Gottman Method
Developed by Drs. John and Julie Gottman, this method is based on extensive research into what makes relationships succeed or fail. The Gottman Method emphasizes building a strong friendship, managing conflict, and creating shared meaning. It includes specific techniques such as the "Four Horsemen" (criticism, contempt, defensiveness, and stonewalling) to identify and counteract destructive behaviors.
4. Imago Relationship Therapy
Imago Therapy, created by Dr. Harville Hendrix and Dr. Helen LaKelly Hunt, focuses on understanding and healing childhood wounds that affect adult relationships. The approach helps partners recognize how their past influences their current behaviors and learn to meet each other's needs more effectively.
5. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
SFBT is a goal-oriented approach that emphasizes finding solutions to specific problems rather than focusing on the past. Couples work with the therapist to identify their goals and develop practical steps to achieve them, fostering a sense of hope and progress.

The Process of Couples Counseling
1. Finding the Right Therapist
Choosing the right therapist is crucial for the success of couples counseling. Look for a licensed therapist with experience in couples therapy and a style that aligns with your needs. You can ask for recommendations from friends, family, or your primary care doctor, or search online directories such as Psychology Today or the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
2. Initial Assessment
The first few sessions typically involve an initial assessment where the therapist gathers information about the couple's relationship history, current issues, and goals for therapy. This assessment helps the therapist understand the dynamics of the relationship and tailor the therapy to the couple's needs.
3. Developing a Treatment Plan
Based on the initial assessment, the therapist will work with the couple to develop a treatment plan. This plan outlines the goals of therapy, the approaches and techniques that will be used, and the expected duration of therapy. Having a clear plan helps both the therapist and the couple stay focused and track progress.
4. Regular Sessions
Couples counseling usually involves regular sessions, typically once a week, although the frequency can vary based on the couple's needs and progress. During these sessions, the therapist facilitates discussions, teaches new skills, and helps the couple practice healthy communication and conflict resolution techniques.
5. Homework Assignments
To reinforce what is learned in therapy, therapists often assign homework for couples to complete between sessions. These assignments may include practicing specific communication techniques, engaging in activities that build intimacy, or journaling about their experiences and feelings.
6. Progress Evaluation
Throughout the therapy process, the therapist will periodically evaluate the couple's progress and make any necessary adjustments to the treatment plan. This ongoing evaluation ensures that the therapy remains effective and responsive to the couple's evolving needs.
Tips for Making the Most of Couples Counseling
1. Be Open and Honest
For therapy to be effective, both partners need to be open and honest about their feelings, concerns, and experiences. This honesty creates a foundation for trust and allows the therapist to provide the most accurate guidance.
2. Commit to the Process
Couples counseling requires commitment from both partners. This means attending sessions regularly, participating fully in the exercises and discussions, and being willing to make changes for the betterment of the relationship.
3. Practice Patience
Improving a relationship takes time, and progress may not always be immediate. Be patient with the process and with each other, understanding that setbacks are a normal part of growth.
4. Focus on Yourself Too
While couples counseling is about improving the relationship, it's also important to focus on personal growth. Each partner should take responsibility for their own actions and work on becoming the best version of themselves.
5. Apply What You Learn
The skills and techniques learned in therapy are only effective if applied in real life. Make a conscious effort to practice new communication strategies, conflict resolution methods, and intimacy-building activities outside of therapy sessions.
When to Consider Couples Counseling
While couples counseling can be beneficial at any stage of a relationship, there are certain signs that indicate it may be particularly necessary:
Frequent Arguments: If you find yourselves arguing more often than not, and the conflicts remain unresolved.
Communication Breakdown: When communication has broken down completely, and you feel like you can't talk to each other without fighting.
Infidelity: After an affair, couples counseling can help rebuild trust and work through the complex emotions involved.
Life Transitions: Major life changes such as having a baby, moving, or retirement can strain a relationship. Counseling can help navigate these transitions smoothly.
Emotional Distance: If you feel emotionally disconnected from your partner, counseling can help rekindle the bond.
Considering Separation: If you are contemplating separation or divorce, counseling can help you understand whether the relationship can be saved and how to proceed.
The Role of Individual Therapy
Sometimes, individual issues can significantly impact a relationship. In such cases, individual therapy can be a valuable complement to couples counseling. Individual therapy allows each partner to work on personal challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, or self-esteem issues, that may be affecting the relationship. By addressing these individual concerns, couples can bring their best selves to the relationship, enhancing the overall effectiveness of couples counseling.
Online vs. In-Person Couples Counseling
With the rise of teletherapy, couples counseling is now more accessible than ever. Both online and in-person counseling have their pros and cons:
Online Counseling
Convenience: Sessions can be conducted from the comfort of your home, saving time and making it easier to fit into busy schedules.
Accessibility: Ideal for couples in remote areas or those with mobility issues.
Anonymity: Some couples feel more comfortable discussing sensitive issues in a virtual setting.
In-Person Counseling
Personal Connection: Face-to-face interaction can create a stronger therapeutic bond and allow for better non-verbal communication.
Environment: A neutral, professional setting can help partners focus and engage more fully in the therapy process.
Ultimately, the choice between online and in-person counseling depends on your personal preferences, lifestyle, and specific needs.
How to Choose the Right Couples Counselor
Choosing the right therapist is crucial for the success of couples counseling. Here are some tips to help you find the right fit:
1. Credentials and Experience
Look for a licensed therapist with specific training and experience in couples therapy. Check their credentials, education, and any certifications they may have.
2. Approach and Techniques
Different therapists use different approaches and techniques. Research the various methods (such as EFT, CBT, Gottman Method) and find a therapist whose approach aligns with your preferences and needs.
3. Compatibility
It's essential to feel comfortable with your therapist. Schedule an initial consultation to see if their personality, style, and approach are a good fit for both partners.
4. Specializations
If you have specific issues, such as infidelity or trauma, look for a therapist who specializes in those areas.
5. Recommendations and Reviews
Seek recommendations from friends, family, or healthcare providers. Additionally, read online reviews and testimonials to get an idea of other couples' experiences with the therapist.
The Cost of Couples Counseling
The cost of couples counseling can vary widely depending on factors such as location, therapist's experience, and session length. On average, couples counseling can range from $75 to $200 per session. Some therapists offer sliding scale fees based on income, and many insurance plans cover couples therapy, so it's worth checking with your provider.

Cutting flowers, arranging them artfully, jotting down finances, repeat. It was clear Soobin loved his work, even with its daily repetition. How could anyone not feel happy surrounded by these sweet-smelling pretty things and basking in the gentle warmth of the morning sun? Watching customers breathe in the flowers’ fragrance with bliss or light up with joy as they received their bouquets brought him a unique sense of fulfillment no other job could give.
Soobin’s little boutique was an instant hit. On his first day, he sold out of flowers within just two hours. It was a lesson learned. Afterward, he stocked up on more flowers and hired Beomgyu, an additional hand.
It was another busy day for them in the shop. Running around all day with custom bouquets in their hands, politely answering the flocks of girls that would coquettishly giggle at them—it was a lot to do even for young men like them. Who would have guessed so many flowers could sell in such a small area?
Soobin sighed as he flipped the sign on the shop’s door to “Closed.” He had let Beomgyu leave early, feeling sorry for him after being swarmed all day. Though Beomgyu initially protested, Soobin insisted he could handle closing up on his own. Glancing at his watch, he noted the time. 5:53 PM. The sun usually sets around this time of the year.
I really am lucky to have a view like this for work, he thought to himself as he looked over the rocky shore where his little boutique resided.
Wait. Why is there a girl sitting in the open ocean at this time? And on that sharp ass rock?
He squinted at the girl as he closed the shop, going down to the sea afterwards to take a closer look.
What the fuck does she think she’s doing?
Maybe she’s having an emo moment, his mind replied.
Should I just leave her be then? He stopped walking.
What? No! And if she dies of hypothermia? What will you do then?
Drawn by the sound of the girl’s singing, Soobin found himself moving closer, unable to resist. It was as if he had become a puppet, helplessly pulled toward its master. His thoughts blurred as he waded into the sea, his clothes clinging to his skin as the icy water rose to his chest. His hydrophobia screamed for him to stop, and the cold sent shivers through his body, but he couldn’t fight the compulsion to reach the source of that angelic voice.
When he finally reached the rock, he saw her. The creature behind the enchanting melody. The one with the long, majestic hair and a face that was probably even more beautiful.
You.
You stopped humming and turned, sensing someone behind you. Soobin froze when your eyes met. You were the most beautiful girl he’d ever seen, so why were alarm bells going off in his head?
Despite the unease creeping up his spine, he took a hesitant step closer as you silently observed him.
And smiled.
His eyes widened in shock as he noticed your sharp, spiky teeth.
What the actual fuck is THAT? What kind of dentist allowed this monstrosity? Leaving ASAP. Don’t care how pretty she is. She’s probably insane.
But it was the sight of your tail that really did it. Without another thought, Soobin spun on his heels and bolted for the shore. Which was kinda stupid. He never had a chance of outrunning you.
Effortlessly, you leaped off your rock and caught him, spinning him around as he flailed wildly in your grasp. The sight of a grown man squealing, gasping, and thrashing, all while being held firmly by a small girl like you, was nothing short of comical. Hilarious, even.
“You scream like a little girl,” you teased.
“And you… talk like a… human?” Soobin panted.
Both of you froze for a moment, confusion hanging in the air. Soobin’s fear of the water momentarily evaporated, replaced by sheer bewilderment.
“Well, yeah,” you said, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. “How else am I supposed to lure people to their deaths if I can’t talk?”
“With your voice? I don’t know! I wasn’t expecting a conversation with my would-be killer!” Soobin exclaimed. His eyes widened as he tried to take a step back. “Wait, are you going to eat me?”
You tilted your head, intrigued by the nervous boy standing before you. “You know what?” you said, grinning. “You’re pretty cute. I’m keeping you.”
“In a cage?” Soobin stammered, his face pale. “Please don’t,” he pleaded, his voice rising in panic. “I have friends… and a loving family… and hopes and dreams!”
Your grin widened as you pulled him closer, letting your sharp teeth flash in front of his face. He flailed helplessly, his long limbs flopping like a fish trying to escape.
“I still have my whole life ahead of me!” he cried desperately. “I haven’t even lost my virginity yet!” His voice cracked dramatically at the end, making you burst into laughter.
The sound of your laughter was so magnificent, so mesmerizing, that Soobin momentarily forgot the peril he was in. He could die right now and he would've still been grateful that he was even able to hear a sound as awe-inspiring as your voice.
“You’re ridiculous,” you said, finally catching your breath. “I wasn’t going to keep you in a cage, dumbass. I meant I was going to keep you alive.”
“Oh.” Soobin blinked, relief washing over his face as he clutched his chest. “Oh, thank God.”
I wouldn’t have minded if she ate me out, though, Soobin thought before his brain betrayed him.
Pervert, his inner voice snapped. You’re literally admitting you’re into vore.
She‘s stunning! How the hell am I supposed to react?!
Simp.
“Look, I need to go,” you interrupted his spiraling thoughts, gripping his collar tightly. “I’m hungry, and I need to find something to eat. Don’t you dare tell anyone about me,” you hissed, your voice dangerously low. “Understood?”
“U-Understood!” Soobin nodded so hard he almost gave himself whiplash. “I’ll keep this a secret! I swear on my life!”
“Good.”
You let go of him with a small smile, turning to leave. But before you could disappear back into the water, his voice stopped you.
“Wait!”
You paused, glancing back.
“W-Will we see each other again?” His voice was shaky but sincere.
The question caught you off guard. Why would he even want to see you again? You didn’t know how to respond, so instead, you dove back into the sea, vanishing without another word.
By the time your conversation ended, the sun had set, leaving the water inky black. Yet as Soobin trudged back to shore, he strangely felt no fear, knowing that you were somewhere there in the sea with him.
Tumblr media
Soobin didn’t visit the shore for an entire week, but he couldn’t stop himself from glancing at it during every free moment, hoping to catch a glimpse of you. Little did he know, you were doing the same—lingering just beneath the surface, wishing he’d come back as you (obviously) couldn’t go on land. Neither of you fully understood why, but the urge to see the other again gnawed at you both.
Soobin found himself daydreaming about your unexpected kindness, while you pondered why you’d decided to spare him. What made him so special? Was it his wimpy demeanor that screamed harmlessness? Or was it the way his eyes sparkled with hope when he asked if you’d meet again?
Eventually, impatience got the better of you. One evening, as the sun painted the horizon gold, you swam closer to the shore, letting your tail breach the water’s surface in a playful display. It didn’t take long for Soobin to spot the shimmering movement. His heart leapt as he immediately ran to his shop to arrange a bouquet for you.
In his rush, he grabbed every flower in sight but quickly panicked. What if she doesn’t even like flowers? He wanted to give you something while not being overwhelming. As he darted around the shop, his eyes landed on a cluster of daisies in the corner.
Perfect.
He plucked the liveliest daisy from the bunch and bolted down to the beach, barely noticing the seawater soaking his clothes and shoes. Seeing you perched near the waves, watching the sunset, made every step worth it.
You turned at the sound of his approach but stayed still, so Soobin decided to take the initiative. It was only his second time seeing you, but he already felt like the main character running in slow motion towards his lover with the sunset in the background. He bravely marched towards you and put on his rizz face, combing his hair back thinking to himself that he was the hot shit—
He tripped on a stray rock and fell down face first.
The water was barely up to his waist, but he was already drowning.
And you were at the side, biting your lip in an attempt not to laugh as you looked on, but it was no use. Watching this grown man nearly dying in water he could easily stand in, all while trying to recover his “cool” facade, was too much. You took pity on him a minute after, helping him stand upright again. He coughed and sputtered, pounding his chest to expel the last of the water, all while avoiding your gaze out of sheer shame.
When he finally composed himself, he smoothed his hair back again, as if nothing had happened. “Come on,” he said, motioning to the shallows. “Let’s sit for a while.”
You stared at him, absolutely baffled by his ability to act like the most humiliating moment of his life hadn’t just occurred, but you followed him anyway.
“I brought something for you,” he said when you both settled down.
He presented an object you didn’t recognize. His eyes were signaling for you to take it, so you clasped it as gently as you could and tilted your head in curiosity.
“What's this?”
“A flower.”
“A flounder?”
“No, a flower.”
“… Flower,” you said slowly, rolling the unfamiliar word over your tongue as if savoring it. Despite your long life, you’d never encountered a flower before. You turned it this way and that, marveling at its delicate form, though you weren’t quite sure what to do with it.
And so without any hesitation, you bit off a few petals.
Soobin’s eyes widened, and he stuttered, trying to form words. But the shock of what he just witnessed left him speechless.
You spat the petals out immediately, your face twisting in disgust. “Tastes like shit.”
“You’re not supposed to eat it,” Soobin said, his voice high with disbelief.
“I wasn’t?” Now it was your turn to feel embarrassed.
“No! You’re only supposed to smell it… or look at it.”
“Oh.”
A long, awkward silence fell between you as you both stared at what remained of the poor daisy. The chewed petals, now flaccid from the seawater, floated pitifully between you.
Soobin cleared his throat, desperate to break the tension. “There are, uh, lots of different flowers,” he said, grasping for a distraction. “Each one has its own meaning.”
“What does this one mean?” you asked, holding up the mangled stem.
“This flower is called a daisy. It represents purity and innocence, but in some parts of the world, it also means…” He trailed off, his ears burning bright red.
“It means?” you prompted, curiosity gleaming in your eyes.
“First love,” he mumbled, barely audible.
“Oh.” You tilted your head, your expression thoughtful. “I wonder what that feels like.”
Soobin blinked, turning to you in surprise. “You’ve never fallen in love before?”
You shook your head, and for some reason, his heart sank. Did that mean you’d never felt the thrill of butterflies in your stomach? Could creatures like you even feel love, or had you simply chosen solitude?
The thought of either option made Soobin’s chest ache in a way he didn’t quite understand.
“It looked pretty though,” you said, your voice soft with regret. “At least before I massacred it.”
A surge of excitement rushed through him at the thought of you liking his gift, even if it didn’t survive. Soobin straightened up, eager to offer something more. “I own a flower shop nearby. I can get you another one if you like it.”
You smiled sadly and shook your head. “I can’t keep it or it’ll just wilt in the ocean.” You gestured at the petals you had spat out as an example.
“I can always give you another one when you come back. That way, you can keep it for as long as possible.”
Your eyes lit up, and the childlike innocence in them made Soobin’s heart skip a beat. “You’d do that for me?”
Soobin felt his chest tighten as he gazed into your eyes.
Maybe it’s too soon to say this, but I think I’d do anything for you.
But he never says those words out loud. Instead, he swallowed hard, pushing the thought aside, and nodded. “Of course. It’s easy to do.”
“Thank you.”
Soobin hated eye contact, but he couldn’t look away as you smiled at him.
She’s actually kinda cute… As long as you cover those nasty-ass teeth, he thought.
“So, you’re not gonna eat me?” he joked, his voice laced with uncertainty.
“No,” you replied, eyes narrowing playfully. “But I’ll have to kill you.”
Soobin froze, his heart racing. He scanned the area frantically, trying to find an escape route, but before he could make a move, you poked him lightly.
The sudden contact sent him tumbling backwards into the water. He scrambled to his feet, his pulse pounding before a surge of defiance took over him. With unexpected force, he splashed seawater at you in an attempt to defend himself.
For a breathless moment, you both locked eyes across the shimmering divide of water, as he finally realized you had been messing with him all along.
And slowly, the tension between you two ebbed away, like the tide retreating from the shore.
Tumblr media
The two of you didn’t cross paths again for another week. It wasn’t because of busyness, but rather a mutual shyness that kept you apart. Both of you, silently wanting to see each other, but unsure of how to make the first move.
One evening, as Soobin and Beomgyu were closing up the shop, Soobin suddenly spoke up.
“Gyu,” Soobin said, stuffing some of the shop’s things into his bag. “Do you think sirens exist?”
Beomgyu looked up in confusion. “You mean the ones in the water?”
“Yeah.”
Beomgyu chuckled. “You’ve been reading too many conspiracy theories. You should get out more. You know, touch some grass, hug a tree… Maybe get a girlfriend instead of staying locked in your room playing League.” He slapped Soobin on the back with a grin.
Soobin was taken aback, his thoughts momentarily clouded. “You’ll never know. The ocean is so deep, we haven’t even—” His words trailed off as his eyes caught sight of you waving at him from the shore.
He quickly turned to Beomgyu. “You can leave early. I’ll close up by myself.”
Beomgyu whined but was quickly pushed out of the shop, still protesting as Soobin hurried to get ready.
Is she crazy? How does she expect her existence to be kept a secret if she just exposes herself like that? Soobin thought, his heart racing as he jogged down to the shore, making sure no one else was around. The sun bathed you in a golden glow, casting a halo around your figure that made you look like a goddess from another realm. The sight left him breathless, overwhelmed by the sheer beauty you radiated.
He took a deep breath and, gathering all his courage, sat down beside you.
You blushed slightly at the sight of him, then grinned. “Since you gave me a flower last time, I thought I’d give you a fish.”
Soobin’s eyes widened in curiosity.
What is she giving me? Alaskan salmon? Bluefin tuna? King crab? Glass eel?
Before he could make sense of it, he screamed as you tossed a clownfish onto a rock.
“Ahh! What did you do to poor Nemo?!” Soobin exclaimed, staring at the poor fish flapping around in distress.
“Nemo? I thought people called it a clownfish,” you said, a bit puzzled.
The fish struggled for a few moments, then went still. You tossed the dead fish back into the sea as Soobin gaped, unable to process the absurdity of the situation. You shrugged, unbothered. “It’ll be eaten up by the other fish anyway.”
Soobin stared at the fish carcass as it sank, feeling a strange sense of disbelief.
“So why did you call it Nemo?” you asked, turning to him.
He blinked, then explained the plot of Finding Nemo to you. You listened with amusement, teasing him when you realized how absurd it was to name a fish “Nemo” when it wasn’t even alive anymore. “But you’re right, though. It kinda looks like him. And you too. Flapping around like you did when we first met,” you teased.
Soobin flushed at the memory. He had acted like a complete fool when you caught him earlier.
The conversation eventually turned more serious as the hours passed by. You told Soobin about how sirens were often poached by hunters for their scales, and how, because of that, sirens despised humans with all their hearts. Soobin listened quietly, realizing how much history you had with humans—tragic, unfair, and full of pain.
In return, Soobin tried to explain concepts like capitalism, cars, the alphabet—but every time he saw your brow furrow in confusion, he would quickly switch back to discussing flowers to simplify things. He didn’t want to overwhelm you with too much information.
It felt so easy with you, even when the topics were strange. With each exchange, he found himself more captivated, not just by your otherworldly beauty, but by the unexpected connection that was growing between you.
Tumblr media
You two never stopped learning about each other’s worlds. One lazy afternoon, Soobin showed up at the shore with a determined look on his face and a giant bag slung over his shoulder.
“What’s that?” you asked, eyeing the bag suspiciously.
“Supplies,” he said cryptically, dropping the bag onto the sand with a loud thud.
“…Supplies for what?”
“I’m teaching you how to play volleyball!”
You blinked, completely thrown off. “What the hell is volleyball?”
He gasped, clutching his chest like you had just personally insulted him. “You don’t know volleyball? What do you sirens even do all day?”
“Um… not throw things at each other for fun?” you retorted.
“Well, you’re missing out,” he said, pulling out a battered volleyball and a makeshift net. “Today’s your lucky day. Coach Soobin is here to teach you.”
You raised an eyebrow. “Coach Soobin? You can barely walk without tripping over yourself.”
“Rude,” he said, as he struggled to set up the net between two rocks. The net was lopsided and sagging by the time he finished, but he stood back proudly like it was a masterpiece. “Okay, we’re ready.”
You crossed your arms, unimpressed. “And how am I supposed to play this… whatever-ball game? I don’t even have legs.”
“Don’t worry, I’ve got it covered,” he said confidently. Then, with absolutely no warning, he chucked the volleyball straight at you.
It smacked into your face with a loud thwack.
You sat there in stunned silence, the ball floating beside you, while Soobin froze, his eyes wide with horror.
“…Did you just throw that at my face?” you asked slowly, your voice dangerously calm.
“I-I didn’t mean to! I thought you’d catch it!” he stammered, backing away.
“With what, Soobin? My fins?”
“Oh, right,” he mumbled, looking genuinely apologetic now.
You stared at him for a moment, then grabbed the volleyball and hurled it back at him with all the strength you could muster. It hit him square in the chest, and he stumbled backward, landing flat on his back in the sand.
“Ow!” he groaned, clutching his chest. “Okay, okay, I deserved that.”
“You deserved worse,” you said, smirking. “Maybe I should summon a shark to help me ‘practice.’”
“Please don’t,” he begged, sitting up and brushing sand out of his hair.
Despite yourself, you couldn’t help but laugh at how pathetic he looked, sprawled in the sand like a defeated crab. “You’re hopeless, you know that?”
“Hopelessly charming,” he said with a weak grin.
“You’re lucky I don’t drag you into the ocean and leave you there.”
“You won’t,” he said, grinning wider now. “Because deep down, you like spending time with me.”
You rolled your eyes but deep inside you knew you couldn’t deny it. “You’re ridiculous, Soobin.”
“Well… yes, but at least I’m good at volleyball,” he said, puffing out his chest like he hadn’t just been floored by your throw.
You laughed again, shaking your head. “Fine, ‘Coach Soobin.’ Teach me your stupid game. But if you hit me in the face again, I’m turning you into shark bait.”
“Deal,” he said quickly, grabbing the ball and grinning like a kid who had just won a prize.
That day was a disaster. He tripped over the net, fell into the water at least three times, and nearly knocked himself out with his own serve. But by the end of it, both of you were laughing so hard that your sides hurt, and for a little while, the rest of the world didn’t matter.
Tumblr media
The next few times Soobin made his way down to the shore, he didn’t expect the feeling of nervous anticipation that gripped him. It had become a habit now, sneaking out after closing the shop, eager to see you again, with each meeting always full of new surprises.
But today, you weren’t at your usual spot.
He waited, heart pounding as the minutes stretched by. He almost thought of leaving, convinced something must have happened, when a soft voice called out to him.
“Soobin.”
He turned, and there you were, sitting by the rocks just beyond the shore, your eyes gleaming with something that felt almost… mysterious. You held out your hand to him, a gesture that tugged at his curiosity.
“Follow me,” you said, voice quiet, yet full of something more. Something deeper.
Soobin hesitated for a brief moment, wondering what you had in mind, but without another thought, he waded in after you. You held his hand as you led him past the usual spots—past the rocks he’d become so familiar with, past the small grove of trees he thought he knew so well. Your movements were graceful, as though you were the ocean itself, and Soobin followed closely behind, his heart racing in anticipation.
After what felt like a while, you stopped, signaling for him to come closer. He reached you as you glided toward a narrow passage between the cliffs, the rocks towering high above you. It was easy to miss this path unless you knew where to look, and Soobin realized with a sudden breath of awe that he had discovered something truly secret—a sanctuary only you knew.
The narrow passage led to a cove, a secluded little inlet surrounded by jagged rocks, where the ocean stretched out in front of them. The water here was a soft, transparent blue, and the rocks lining the shore were smooth, almost sculpted. The scene before him felt like a dream, a hidden paradise where only you and the ocean seemed to exist.
“Soobin, this place is special,” you said softly as you sat down on one of the smooth rocks. “I come here when I need to think, when I want to be alone. But…” You hesitated before looking at him, your expression unreadable. “I wanted to share it with you.”
Soobin felt a mix of awe and gratitude flood through him. To him, this was more than just a secret spot; it was a part of you, a side of you that you were finally allowing him to see. He sat beside you on the smooth rocks, the weight of the gesture not lost on him. The silence was peaceful, comforting, like this space was made just for the two of you.
From that day on, Soobin made it a point to visit the cove every evening after closing the shop. At first, it was only once a week, then twice. But it quickly became a routine, and before long, it was every day. He couldn’t stay away. The cove had become his place too—a place where you two could be yourselves without any of the outside world’s noise. Each day, the moments you shared there grew more special, more intimate. Everyday, he’d give you a new kind of flower to take home. You’d splash water at each other, tell stories, and laugh at the little things. Sometimes, you’d sit together in silence, watching the sunset paint the sky in hues of pink and orange, the world seemingly stopping around you.
As the days passed, Soobin found himself growing more attached to you than he ever expected. It started as curiosity, wondering about the siren who had captured his attention, but now… now it was something more. Something he couldn’t quite name but couldn’t ignore.
And then, one evening as the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in vibrant oranges and purples, Soobin found himself sitting beside you in the cove, his heart pounding, his hand just a little too close to yours. The routine, the bond—everything had led him to this moment. He couldn’t hold it in any longer.
He turned to you, his throat tight with nerves, and finally, he spoke the words he had been holding onto for so long.

How to Buy a Car Online
Buying a car online offers a unique convenience, but it’s essential to approach the process with a plan.
Tumblr media
Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you purchase a car online confidently and securely.
1. Set a Budget and Define Your Needs
Decide on a budget and list your must-have features. Consider whether you need a new or used car, your preferred make and model, fuel efficiency, and any additional features that matter to you. Establishing your needs early on will help narrow your options and streamline your search.
2. Research Reliable Websites and Sellers
Stick to reputable online car marketplaces and dealership websites to avoid scams. Look for verified sellers, read customer reviews, and check the Better Business Bureau for ratings. Some popular and trusted platforms include Carvana, Autotrader, and Vroom. Many dealerships also offer virtual showrooms with secure purchasing options.
3. Conduct a Thorough Vehicle Inspection
Once you’ve found a car that interests you, request detailed photos and a video tour. Look for any signs of wear, rust, or damage, and ask about the car’s history. For used vehicles, check the VIN and obtain a vehicle history report through CARFAX or AutoCheck. It will provide information on the car’s maintenance record, previous ownership, and any reported accidents.
4. Verify Pricing and Value
Use tools like Kelley Blue Book or Edmunds to get an estimate of the car’s fair market value. Comparing the asking price to these resources ensures you’re paying a reasonable amount and gives you leverage for negotiation.
5. Arrange Financing and Insurance
If you’re not paying in cash, arrange financing through your bank, credit union, or directly through the online car platform if they offer financing options. Shop around for the best interest rates and terms, and get pre-approved if possible. You’ll also need to secure insurance coverage for the car before finalizing the purchase.
6. Schedule a Virtual or In-Person Test Drive
If the car is within reach, test drive it in person to assess comfort, handling, and overall performance. If you’re buying from out of state, many sellers offer virtual test drives via live video calls, where they can demonstrate features and provide a closer look.
7. Negotiate the Price
Don’t hesitate to negotiate, especially if you’ve noticed minor issues or can provide lower price comparisons. Negotiating online is often straightforward, with many platforms allowing you to make offers and negotiate via chat or email.
8. Finalize Paperwork Securely
Complete all necessary paperwork securely, including title transfer, bill of sale, and any required warranty information. Ensure the contract includes any promised services or warranties, and carefully read through all terms. Most online platforms and dealerships will offer a secure digital signing process, or you may be mailed the documents to sign.
9. Arrange Delivery
If the car is far from your location, work with a reliable transport service to have it delivered to your home. Many online car sellers provide their own delivery services, while independent transport services like Viceroy Auto Transport also offer secure and timely vehicle delivery.
10. Inspect Upon Delivery
Once the car arrives, thoroughly inspect it to ensure it matches the listing and is in the agreed-upon condition. Verify that it includes all promised items, such as spare keys or additional equipment, and perform a final test drive if possible.
By following these steps, buying a car online can be a smooth and secure process. With the right preparation, you can find and purchase a vehicle from the comfort of home, making online car shopping a convenient alternative to traditional dealerships.

CHALLENGES YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THE EARLY YEARS OF MARRIAGE.
So now you're married to the lady and guy of your dreams,
CONGRATULATIONS
You are about to head to the moon to find some honey, but hold on a Sec.
The first year and the early years you spend as husband and wife will be one of the most challenging for you as a couple.
Study has shown that most Marriages break up in the first four/five years of Marriage and once past that stage most Marriages tended to last.
You know, at this stage, whether you like it or not, You’re still getting to know each other and there will be so many new situations to manage.
(Remember, no matter how long the courtship, you can never know someone completely)
It's not necessarily about how long the courtship was, but how well it was done
Surprises await everyone in marriage, even when courtship is well done.
Knowing about what to expect in the first year of marriage will help you prepare adequately and may even prevent some of the challenges.
So here's a list for everyone to take note of...
1. Money 💵 ISSUES
When you get married, you have to make a big financial shift, otherwise wahala wee sup.
Regardless of whether there’s a sole breadwinner or you’re both baking the bread, you’ll start learning each other’s spending/saving habits.
Perhaps one person is more frugal and the other lives within a strict budget.
Especially for those who didn't cohabit (which is the right thing), and who weren't staying too close, you may not know his or her spending habits completely..
Money issues destroy homes even more than sex issues..
Being able to come together to sort out spending and financial goals is very important in the beginning.
And discuss finance during courtship
2. IN-LAWS 👨👩
No matter how cool you were with your fiance’s family before marriage, being officially man and wife will bring about a few changes.
Suddenly, you are
"Ìyàwó"
Our Wife",
"My Son"
There are obligations to consider and boundaries to set in that first year of marriage.
If you didn't envisage and prepare for this, it could really shake your home
✔️ It's advised that the new couple ask family to stay away for the first two or three years of marriage, though this may not be feasible in some cases, but it's the best choice..
So that in that first two years they can settle issues that come up together without a third party being around to take sides..
And they can be free to be intimate in the house as they like without any interruption..
✔️ It is advised that in a marriage, the man should handle his family members (especially the stubborn ones) while the woman handles her own family members in same manner
✔️ And please, when a family is rejecting you, don't force yourself to marry their child.
Be Wise
Pray some more
A family that hates you can go to extra lengths to oust you from their brothers home even after you guys are married
3. QUIRKS..... BECOME MORE BOTHERSOME
What are quirks?
Those little annoying things that your partner once did that you probably find adorable will soon become irksome.
If he’s a talker, for instance, you may begin to find the idea of staying up late to listen to him or him distracting you when you’re reading increasingly irritating.
If she was always scattering her clothes all over her room and you didn't mind, after marriage, you might start getting very irritated by that habit.
So, you'd need to arm yourself with patience and determination to see that you find a way around such situations as they come.
And not resort to quarreling and fighting
4. HOUSEHOLD CHORES 👷
This is ehn....... The real deal.
If you’ve never lived together before, (which is the Christian standard) you’ll be faced with what to do with chore sharing in the first year of marriage.
Who washes the dishes today.?
Who sweeps today?
Who cooks?
Especially where the both of you have different ideologies about house chores and gender roles ,
If you both work full-time, you will have to come up with how to get sort everything in such a way that one partner does not feel resentful about being made to do it all.
It's best you discuss house chores with your wife to be or husband to be during courtshsip.
What are your expectations? What do you expect me to be doing as a Woman?
And what will you be doing as the man?
Who does what?
DISCUSS IT.
A young Man married a Woman and the next day asked her to go into the kitchen to prepare food for him, she asked him if he was okay, that was how their problems started, the marriage eventually broke up in less than a month..
5. INTIMACY/SEX 👩‍❤️‍👨
Especially for Christians, and virgins, a lot of discoveries, a lot of getting used to, a lot of trying to get the whole sex department running smoothly can become a challenge..
For instance, for a Man who has premature ejaculation, since he is a Virgin, he may never know he has such problem till he gets married, and then when he finally finds out, of course madam wouldn't be impressed, and he himself not happy,
now such issue can cause a strain in a young marriage if wisdom is not applied
A lot of discoveries will happen that will require wisdom.
For instance some women experience pain during sex, It's just normal, they may never know till marriage.
Some woman don't like any body touching their breasts, they themselves may not know this till their wedding night and many nights after that,, and where the man likes to touch that part, Wahala has organize match for such a young couple be dat.
We also have the issue of oral sex, a person who agrees to it before marriage can suddenly change their mind after experiencing it, and then their spouse is left feeling deceived.
Couples can even begin to feel so comfortable in their marriage that they don’t have that urgency to connect physically like they did when they were dating, like dating and going out on dates.
Sometimes one partner is more comfortable with letting sex take a back seat, feeling okay if sex happens once in a week only, while the other feels resentful if he or she isn't getting sex every two hours.
SOLUTIONS
✔️ Open communication is the best way to deal with any of these situations above
Talk to your partner if you’re not happy with the situation of things and you should be able to come to a compromise that works for you both.
✔️ Seek Wise Counselors, not people who will take sides, or broadcast your marital issues outside, or even give you solutions that will compound your problem...
✔️ Prayer..
Never underestimate the power of prayer.
PRAYER WORKS
✔️ Seek medical advice and help of any medical problem arises.
Let go your shame and ego and put your marriage ahead.
: ✔️ BE FLEXIBLE
You can't win all the fight, you can always have things go your way.
Lose the battle so you can win the war
Even the strongest of tress bend sometimes.
Don't force your opinions and preferences down your spouses throat..
Thanks for always liking, commenting, tagging someone and sharing.

Hi, hey, hello! I just wanted to say I saw your Basic Horse Info post and it made me SO happy. I've been riding since I was 2 (English, competitive hunter/jumper) and spent three years working alongside an equine vet. I always get so bothered when people handle horses incorrectly in media. I just wanted to shoot you a message and say thanks for taking the time to do that, and that it's super hella rad that you have barrel racing experience! I have ridden western a tiny bit myself, but nothing close to the skill it takes to run barrels. I'd love to get back into riding on my own terms someday (money pending) and dig more into that discipline. The agility on the flat is super cool to me! I am always down to talk shop about horses and riding and all that, so if you ever want a horsey chat pal, I'd love to be that person! Anyway have a wonderful day!
Thanks for reaching out! I seriously envy your ability to handle English riding rofl, I would always end up slipping off the saddle or just freaking out in general because I didn't feel like there was enough under my butt to keep me stable with English tack! Plus, I just... suck at dressage. I tried a little dressage, and my riding instructor would literally bow her head and pinch between her eyes at how terrible my posture was, how bad I was at remembering where to turn my head, etc.
I choose to blame learning to ride in my early teens rather than a very young age. Or just being a big baby, which is just as likely. My mom, who's worked with horses since she was a child, wanted to raise me in the saddle, but our finances never really worked out to where we could pull that off.
The funny thing is that I only got into barrel racing because it was the sport that my instructing horse practiced before his owner retired him from competing and trained him as a teaching horse. Once my ass was sitting on Western style tack, things kinda just clicked for me, and after a few months my teacher was running out of stuff for me to learn from the "general riding" category and busted out her old set of barrels one day just to give me something more to do! She didn't actually mean to get me hooked on it, but I don't think she should've ever blamed herself. I blame my horse, Chip, for getting me into barrel racing.
He was a sour old grump (he was about 14 when I started learning; your classic chestnut and white painted Quarterhorse), healthy, but had to retire from racing after he'd badly strained one of the tendons in his back legs and the vet warned he'd probably tear it if he had to keep competing seriously. He could still run the barrels from time to time for fun, but continuing to professionally compete would've lamed him permanently. He generally had the demeanor of a bitter athlete forced to retire before his career could really take off, and kind of... forgot he was supposed to be going easy on me when he saw the barrels. I had only just barely begun learning the rhythm for galloping and was still very, very nervous about it (I wasn't even that good at switching leads yet), but Chip did NOT care, took off at the barrels, and I suddenly found myself at a full gallop on his back, wide-eyed, and flying around those barrels.
After that? I couldn't stop barrel racing. My instructor started making the barrels a regular part of my riding instructions. That feeling of flying around those breakneck turns - the freedom and feeling of the gods of Life and Death flipping a coin on your odds of survival at the same time - woke something up in me, and I was racing casually with him and getting ready to try competition riding on a new horse when I started developing problems with my gallbladder that took me out of the saddle for good :( That's when I discovered a love for working as a stable hand, since it kept me with the horses and at the barn.
However, about 6 years ago, I had my gallbladder removed, my health has been getting better, and I now live in an area rife with horse ranches. The closest store to my house is literally a tack and garden supply shop. My doctor has been nudging me to get more exercise, and I'm really beginning to miss the smell of alfalfa flakes...
Feel free to visit my DMs/askbox again! I love reading the tags on that post and seeing other horse stories in the comments and tags, so it's awesome to hear from people directly about them :)

Pairing: Kita x Fem!Reader
What's Meant to Be Masterlist
The evening of your outing with Kita, you wait at the cafe where you had previously met him. A minute later he arrives with a small smile on his face.
"I'm sorry," he says as he approaches you. "I didn't mean to be late."
"You're not," you reply as you hug him. "You're right on time."
"Shall we?"
"Lead the way," you smile, following him.
The two of you make your way down the busy street. He leads you a couple of blocks over to a beautiful restaurant with a large glass door.
As you step inside, you take a moment to look around the room. It's fairly simple but elegant. The two of you are greeted by a server and led to a table in the center of the dining area.
"Is this alright?" the server asks as she sets down the menus.
"This is perfect, thank you," Kita replies.
"Enjoy your meal," she smiles, and turns to leave.
"What a beautiful restaurant," you say, turning to Kita.
"It is," he agrees. "I thought it would be a good place for us to catch up."
"Yeah," you smile, nodding.
"So, Y/N," he begins, picking up his menu. "Tell me more about what you've been up to."
"Well," you say, picking up your own menu. "I've been spending my spare time trying to learn how to cook."
"That's nice. What have you been learning to make?"
"Anything and everything," you reply. "I've gotten pretty good at baking. But my skills are lacking when it comes to cooking food. I can barely make a decent meal."
He chuckles softly. "Well, I'd offer to help but I can't say I'm much better, honestly. Maybe the two of us can try and help each other some time."
"Sure," you smile.
"You've really grown up," he then says.
"We've been out of high school for some time," you laugh.
"Yeah, but you're different now," he shrugs. "I don't really know how to describe it. You've changed, but you're still the same."
"I guess that's a good thing," you say, a bit uncertain.
"It is," he reassures.
Just then, the server returns, and the two of you order. Kita then orders a bottle of wine for the two of you which the server quickly brings to the table.
"How has your life been?" you ask him. "I remember you said something about finance, is that correct?"
"Yes, I work for a company called Hyogo," he replies. "It's a pretty big investment firm. We handle a lot of different portfolios. It's a pretty stable job. I don't know what else I would do if I weren't doing this."
"What do you mean? You were so good at volleyball back in high school! You could've gone pro."
He shakes his head, laughing. "I don't know about that. But I do miss it sometimes."
"Same here," you say. "I'm glad we met up again."
"Me too," he smiles.
After the two of you eat, the conversation between you grows more comfortable. You've moved past the simple pleasantries and started having conversations like two friends who haven't missed a beat.
"So, you're still a dancer?" Kita then asks, a hint of curiosity in his voice.
"Yes," you say, nodding. "It's all I've known."
"And you're happy with that?"
"As happy as I can be," you shrug.
He studies your face for a moment. "Something seems off, though," he observes.
You're surprised by his intuition. You've always loved dancing. It's probably because he saw the bruise on your face the other night.
"I'm okay, really. It's just been a long week," you lie.
"You can tell me, you know," he says, gently touching your hand.
You bite your lip and avert your gaze, trying to decide what to say. "I'm serious, Shinsuke," you tell him as you pull your hand away from his. "I'm fine."
"I'm sorry," he shakes his head. "I didn't mean to pry."
"It's alright," you assure him.
The rest of the evening goes smoothly. You two finish eating and drink a few glasses of wine. By the end of the night, the two of you have gotten pretty buzzed. It takes you a while to realize that you're going to be late to work, and drunk, no less.
"I should probably head home," you lie to him. "I have an early morning."
"Do you need a ride home?" Kita offers.
"No, no," you shake your head. "I'm okay."
"Alright," he nods. "Let me walk you out, though."
"Okay."
The two of you stand up, and make your way toward the front door.
As you step outside, the cool air hits your skin. You feel yourself sober up slightly.
"It was nice catching up, Shinsuke," you say, smiling.
"You too," he replies.
"I'm sorry to cut this night short but I've really got to get going. It's getting late."
"Don't worry about it," he says, stepping closer.
You're caught off guard as he leans forward and kisses your cheek.
"Thanks for tonight," you manage to say.
"Of course," he smiles, taking a step back.
Feeling a bit dizzy after the kiss, you turn and head towards work. As soon as you get to the club, you're pulled aside by the manager.
"What happened to you?" Takao asks.
"Nothing," you say.
"You're late. And... drunk?" he observes. "What were you doing?"
"I'm sorry," you say. "I won't let it happen again."
"You better not," he huffs. "Go get dressed."
"Yes sir, sorry."
He shakes his head and walks off.
You quickly make your way to the dressing room but before you can get there, Sayuri rushes to your side and links her arm with yours. "Hey, how was the big night?"
"I'm fine," you say.
"Really?" she asks, raising her eyebrow. "You smell like wine. Were you drinking?!"
"I was with Kita," you whisper.
"I know... Wait," she says, eyes widening. "Did something happen?"
"No, not like that," you shake your head.
"Well, what happened then?"
"We went to a nice restaurant. We talked, we drank. We didn't go further than that. And then I walked here. I'm just running a little late. I talked to Takao. It's okay," you then reassure her.
"So nothing happened between the two of you?"
"No."
"Are you disappointed about that?"
"Sayuri..."
"Sorry! I was just wondering," she shrugs. "You at least got his number, right?"
"I already have it from high school," you reply, not thinking much of it.
"Oh yeah? Even after the great contact deletion of last year?" she laughs.
"Shit, you're right," you say, shaking your head.
"How're you going to talk to him again?"
"I can just look him up on Instagram or something," you shrug. "I know where he works."
"Ooooh, stalker," she teases.
"No, it's not like that," you say, rolling your eyes.
"Uh huh," she says. "Are you gonna actually do it? DM him, I mean."
"I dunno," you shrug. "Maybe."

8, 17, 20 for the OC asks <3
8: Does your OC have any notable flaws or activities they're not good at? Why did you give them those flaws? Why do they exist in-universe?
this is a great question, because almost all of my ghosts ocs are designed to have several glaring flaws which make them extremely grating to haunt with, à la canon. i did this because i like arsehole characters who suck. william, for starters, is supposed to be a crusading soldier... and he dies a slow death of tuberculosis before he can achieve any of that. which i suppose makes the other activity he's not good at breathing - you stay how you die, after all. william is a bit like the love child the captain's military outlook and pat's excruciating optimism, as it happens. geoffrey is terrible at handling finances, and horses, and life in general. (he's honestly much happier after death. less responsibility.)
clarence has a bad habit of going along with other people's stupid ideas, most notably george button's idiotic suggestion to skate on the lake in winter. (you can imagine how that went.) elizabeth isn't very good at socialising - she has one (1) ghost she likes, and that's pretty much it. unfortunately for robin, that ghost is humphrey. also, she's exceptionally bad at haunting, which is honestly fair enough, seeing as the only ghost power available to her is a guy who can slash at stuff with his sword (william, at it again). oh, and she holds grudges. i mean, she's dead; it's not like there's much else she can hold. and having died in her sleep, she's frequently feverish and dizzy. in fact, it took robin longer than usual to convince her she was dead, because she wasn't awake to experience it.
17: List/describe up to five tropes that apply to your OC. They could be related to the OC's characterization or their narrative arc.
bad news: despite browsing tvtropes for fun, i have no idea how to answer this - or at least i don't have the energy. i would say that all of my ghost ocs (not bbc ghosts ocs, specifically ocs who are ghosts) are designed to be caricatures, with particular emphasis on some of them being parodies of their era. william is very much a parody of the crusading ideal, of holy war and chivalry, blah blah blah, and also a bit of richard the lionheart. richard the lionheart is way after his era, but he's still obsessed with the guy (and saladin), because he's been a bit... consumed by medieval crusading culture. "back in my day," he'd probably say, referring to a period more than a century after he died...
i also have some french ghosts ocs, and of those, pretty much all of them play off bbc ghosts and tropes surrounding their era, most notably marius (a bit like william, but a roman soldier, and incredibly fucking annoying). there's also estienne, who is a french spin on robin (i say french, but he's not french at all), pierre, who's mostly me messing around with identity and language in the south of france, milada (czech, and the antithesis of julian: very into in 90s/early 2000s culture, but the music and tech in lieu of tory shittiness), giulietta (gay and medieval. i wanted to subvert the "gay people were miserable in the past" narrative), mathieu (messing around with ideas of heroism and how that interacts with the french revolution in popular imagination), and james, a shitty english spy who tries to pass as an incredibly stereotypical frenchman, and only avoids being caught because he's so ineffectual nobody seriously thinks he could be a threat.
20: Share a random piece of trivia about the creation of your OC. Examples: scrapped ideas or changes you didn't expect to make.
the a in au stands for arthur. who is arthur? an oc involved in the long fic i'm working on (read: will probably be writing for the rest of the year, help). he's humphrey and sophie's (eldest) son, in an au where they actually learn to get along. ironically, his original backstory was from what was pretty much just daydreaming, in a world where his parents had been involved in the bone plot and died before he was old enough to remember them. so yeah, i'd say that's a pretty major scrapped idea. also this isn't relevant to the question but for his fourteenth birthday he gets a dog. they're best friends. this isn't relevant to the question, but it's very important to me.

What Is an EPF Calculator?
Tumblr media
What's EPF?
The Hand Provident Fund( EPF), is a particular withdrawal benefits scheme for workers who are endless & salaried. The EPF is impeccably handled by the workers Provident Fund Organization( EPFO). The EPFO will cover any reality/ establishment that has 20 or further workers. There are substantially 3 schemes run by the EPFO) workers provident fund organization.
 1952 The EPF Scheme
 1995 The Pension Scheme
 1976 The Insurance Scheme
workers who are covered by the EPF scheme make a fixed donation of 12 of their introductory payment as well as the honey allowance to the scheme. The employer should also contribute inversely to the EPF scheme. Right after the ministry of finance discussion, the EPFO Central Board of Trustees determines EPF interest rates. For FY2022, the EPF Interest Rate is set at 8.1.
At withdrawal, the hand would admit a lump-sum payment that included both the hand's and the employer's benefactions as well as the interest payments. Anyway, the 12 of the employer match doesn't get deposited in the EPF account.8.33 of the 12 donations continue to be entered in the hand pension scheme account, while the remaining 3.67 will be entered into the hand EPF account.
What Is an EPF Calculator?
The EPF calculator calculates the quantum of finances that will make up your EPF account at withdrawal and shows it to you. You can figure out the lump-sum quantum fluently, which combines the interest that has accrued just on investment as well as your donation and the employer's benefactions.
You can input your present age, your introductory yearly pay envelope, the honey allowance, your EPF donation, and your age of withdrawal up to 58 times in the formula box on the EPF calculator. However, you also can input the being EPF balance, If you really are apprehensive about the numbers. The PF Maturity Calculator will give the EPF finances available for withdrawal formerly after you enter the information necessary.
Benefits of Using the Vakilsearch EPF Calculator India
At withdrawal, individuals can calculate their EPF corpus

The Importance of Financial Ethics for BBA in Finance Graduates
Financial ethics isn't just another subject in your coursework; it’s the foundation of a successful career in finance. For students pursuing a BBA in Finance at a reputed institution like a BBA College in Noida, understanding ethical practices is as crucial as mastering numbers and strategies. Why? Because finance isn't only about profits and balance sheets; it’s also about trust, integrity, and responsible decision-making.
What Are Financial Ethics?
At its core, financial ethics refers to the moral principles that guide decisions and behaviours in the finance sector. It covers everything from being transparent with clients and avoiding conflicts of interest to following legal regulations. For graduates, especially those with aspirations in banking, investments, or corporate finance, ethical decision-making isn’t optional—it’s expected.
Why Financial Ethics Matter for BBA in Finance Students
As a student pursuing a BBA in Finance, you’re not just learning about financial models and market analysis. You’re also preparing for real-world scenarios where your decisions can significantly impact businesses and individuals.
Here are some reasons why ethics is non-negotiable in finance:
Trust is the Foundation of Finance
Finance is all about managing other people’s money. Whether you're working in investments or accounting, clients need to trust you to handle their finances responsibly. Unethical behaviour, such as insider trading or misreporting figures, can break this trust, sometimes irreparably.
Reputation is Everything
In the finance sector, reputation can make or break a career. Companies and individuals who act ethically are more likely to earn respect and loyalty from clients and colleagues. Think of ethics as your professional safety net—it keeps you from making decisions that could tarnish your reputation.
Avoiding Legal Consequences
Unethical behaviour often leads to legal trouble. From fraud to tax evasion, unethical practices can result in hefty fines, lawsuits, and even jail time. By acting ethically, you not only stay on the right side of the law but also safeguard your career.
How BBA in Finance Graduates Can Prioritise Ethics
Now that we’ve established why ethics matter, let’s talk about how students and future professionals can incorporate them into their careers:
Understand Ethical Guidelines: Familiarise yourself with industry standards and legal regulations. Courses on business ethics, often included in BBA programmes, provide a great starting point.
Think Beyond Profits: While it’s tempting to focus solely on financial gains, consider the bigger picture. Ask yourself how your decisions impact stakeholders, from clients to society at large.
Learn From Real-World Cases: Many companies have faced scandals due to unethical practices. Study these cases to understand what went wrong and how it could have been avoided.
Develop Integrity Early: Honesty and transparency aren’t just professional traits; they’re personal ones. Practising these values in your academic and personal life sets a strong foundation for your career.
Conclusion
Ethics is more important than ever in today’s fast-paced and competitive financial landscape. As a BBA in Finance graduate, your ability to make ethical decisions will set you apart, earning you trust, respect, and long-term success.
If you’re studying at a leading BBA College in Noida, use this time to not only master technical skills but also build a strong ethical compass. After all, in finance, it’s not just about doing well—it’s about doing what’s right.

Bookkeeper South Jersey
Tumblr media
Bookkeeper South Jersey: Why You Should Hire a Professional Keeping your finances organized is essential for the success of any business, whether you’re a small local shop or a growing enterprise in South Jersey. However, managing books is no small task. From tracking daily transactions to preparing financial reports, bookkeeping requires attention to detail, time, and a good understanding of accounting principles. If you’ve been considering handling your business’s bookkeeping yourself or delegating it to someone inexperienced, it’s worth taking a step back. Hiring a professional bookkeeper in South Jersey can save you time, reduce stress, and improve the accuracy of your financial records. Here’s why working with an expert is a smart investment.
What Does a Bookkeeper Do? Bookkeepers play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records for a business. Their responsibilities typically include recording daily transactions, reconciling bank statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing invoices, and assisting with payroll. Unlike an accountant who focuses on broader financial strategies and tax filings, a bookkeeper ensures your day-to-day finances are in order. They create the foundation upon which accountants and financial planners can build strategic insights.
The Benefits of Hiring a Bookkeeper
Expertise and Accuracy Professional bookkeepers are trained to handle financial records with precision. They understand how to properly categorize transactions, track expenses, and ensure that your books are balanced. Mistakes in bookkeeping can lead to cash flow issues, missed tax deductions, and even legal trouble. By hiring a qualified bookkeeper in South Jersey, you reduce the risk of errors and gain peace of mind knowing your financial records are accurate and up to date.
Time Savings Running a business is demanding, and managing your books can quickly become a time-consuming task. By outsourcing your bookkeeping, you free up valuable time to focus on other aspects of your business, such as serving customers, managing employees, or planning growth strategies. A professional bookkeeper can handle your financial records efficiently, allowing you to spend your time where it’s needed most.
Better Financial Insights When your books are well-organized, you gain a clearer picture of your business’s financial health. A professional bookkeeper can provide reports that help you understand your cash flow, track profitability, and identify trends or areas of concern. These insights are invaluable for making informed decisions about your business’s future.
Why DIY Bookkeeping is Risky Many business owners in South Jersey consider managing their own bookkeeping to save money. While this approach may seem cost-effective initially, it often leads to costly mistakes. Without proper training and tools, it’s easy to misclassify transactions, overlook deductions, or fail to reconcile accounts. Additionally, bookkeeping software like QuickBooks or Xero requires a learning curve. If you’re not experienced with these platforms, you may spend countless hours trying to figure out how to use them effectively. This time could be better spent growing your business or improving your services. Finally, DIY bookkeeping doesn’t provide the same level of expertise as a professional. A bookkeeper can identify potential issues early, offer advice on improving financial practices, and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
How a Professional Bookkeeper Adds Value Tax Preparation Made Easy Tax season can be stressful for business owners, especially if financial records are incomplete or disorganized. A professional bookkeeper ensures your records are accurate and ready for tax filing, making the process smoother and more efficient. They also help you track deductible expenses throughout the year, potentially saving you money on your tax bill. Scalability for Growing Businesses As your business grows, your financial needs become more complex. A professional bookkeeper can adapt to your evolving needs, whether it’s managing a higher volume of transactions, preparing for audits, or providing financial reports for potential investors. Their expertise ensures your financial records can keep up with your business’s growth. Compliance with Regulations Financial regulations can be complicated, and non-compliance can lead to penalties or legal trouble. Bookkeepers are familiar with local, state, and federal requirements and ensure that your business adheres to these rules. By staying compliant, you avoid unnecessary fines and maintain your reputation. Support During Financial Audits In the event of an audit, having a professional bookkeeper on your side is invaluable. They can provide organized records, clarify transactions, and assist with any questions or concerns raised by auditors. Their support can make the audit process less intimidating and more manageable.
Finding the Right Bookkeeper in South Jersey When searching for a bookkeeper in South Jersey, look for someone with experience in your industry and a strong track record of reliability. Consider their certifications, such as being a Certified Bookkeeper or having experience with popular accounting software. A good bookkeeper should also be transparent, communicative, and willing to work closely with you to meet your business’s unique needs.
Conclusion Bookkeeping is the backbone of any successful business, ensuring that financial records are accurate, organized, and compliant with regulations. While it may be tempting to manage your books yourself, hiring a professional bookkeeper in South Jersey offers numerous benefits, from saving time to improving financial insights. By entrusting your bookkeeping to an expert, you can focus on running and growing your business with confidence, knowing that your finances are in capable hands. So, if you’ve been searching for “Bookkeeper South Jersey,” take the next step and hire a professional who can help your business thrive.
